Amazing Snow Sculptures

In China the Harbin Ice- and Snow Festival last from Desember until February the 28th.

Each year the far northeast of China the city of Harbin holds this famous winter festival. Artisans from all over the globe come to carve gargantuan works of art out of blocks of ice and mountains of snow. The theme of the festival changes yearly but, no matter the theme, the sculptures will have you ohhing and awwing. 

Imagine a park full of life-size ice replicas, of everything from giant Buddhas to European cathedrals. There are sports cars made of ice, trees made of ice and an ice rock climbing wall for those with enough feeling left in their hands and feet to give it a shot.

Sometimes you need to close the door and take a leap of faith

Learn to love yourself enough so that when someone enters your life that treats you negatively, you can stand up for yourself and have the strength to let them go. You can learn that it is okay to say no to anyone who is not willing to treat you with the love and respect you not only want, but also deserve. Have the courage to walk away from anything that does not serve you well. Search for your highest good.

When you realize that you're constantly treating a person a lot better than they treat you, it's time to make a change.

A lesson will keep repeating itself until it is learned. Life first will send the lesson to you in the size of a pebble; if you ignore the pebble, then life will send you a brick; if you ignore the brick, life will send you a brick wall; if you ignore the brick wall, life will send you a demolition truck.

Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.

Always know when to let go. When a thought is bringing you more misery than peace, let go of the thought; when a person is bringing more paint than joy to your life, let go... You cannot be your best if you lack joy and peace.

Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, undone or forgotten. So take it as a lesson learned and move on.

You block your dream when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith.

If you're brave to say "good bye", life will reward you with a new "hello".

When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so lang and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.

When there is a grat disappointment, we don't know if that's the end of the story. It may be just the beginning of a great adventure.

You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

Disappointments are just life's way of saying: "I've got something better". Be patient. Live Life. Have Faith.

In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except yourself.

When you take a leap of faith, obstacles are removed and doors are opened. Do not stand there wondering if you made the right choice, but keep on moving as your destiny lies ahead.

Happiness often sneaks in a door you did not think was open.

Having fait in yourself can lead you to the door of success.

She took the leap of faith and grew her wings on the way down.

Do not fear the future; go forward with hope and faith.

Today I close the door to the past, open the door to the future, take a deep breath, step on through and start a new chapter in my life.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

One of the best feelings in the world is finally knowing you took a step in the right direction. A step towards the future where everything that you never thought was possible, is possible..
